Can I use the Home Energy Upgrade Loan without a One Stop Shop?
No. The works have to be carried out by an SEAI registered One Stop Shop or Community Coordinator, so a self-managed project cannot use it.

The loan is only for works by a registered One Stop Shop or Community Coordinator.

It lends €5,000 to €75,000 over up to ten years.

Self-managed, you pay each contractor and SEAI pays you back. If you need the loan, that is a real reason to choose a One Stop Shop.
