info@usecara.ie is the only way to reach us. We are a small operation, not a call centre, so there is no phone number to ring. We answer within a working day or two.

Say which page you are writing about and we can be a lot more useful.

If a number here looks wrong

Tell us the page, the figure and what you think it should be. Every number on this site is traceable to a published file, so a correction usually takes minutes: either we made a mistake, or the file we read has been updated and we have not caught up. Either way we would rather fix it than defend it. We say on each page when we last checked it.

If you sent us a request for quotes

Email us and mention the county and the day you sent it. We can tell you which installers we passed it to and when. We can also delete it — see the privacy page for how that works.

What we cannot do is make an installer reply. If nobody has come back to you within a week, tell us and we will send it to different firms.

If your question is about your own grant application

We cannot help, and we do not want to guess. We have no access to SEAI's systems, we cannot see your application, and we are not able to tell you where you are on a waiting list.

If you install this kind of work

We pass homeowner requests to installers registered with SEAI, free, and we take nothing from either side. If you want to be on that list for your county, email us with the counties you cover, the work you do and your SEAI registration.
