Why oil homes pay back fastest

Prices for those jobs are the middle price SEAI recorded for that work last year; grants come from SEAI’s published amounts; fuel prices come from SEAI’s comparison table.

Common questions
- How much room do I lose?
- About 10 cm off each outside wall. In a small bedroom that is noticeable; in a hall it usually is not.
- Do I have to move out?
- Most people stay. The work moves room by room over one to two weeks, and you redecorate after.
- Is it as good as wrapping the outside?
- Close, but not quite. Walls done inside keep heat in a little less well than walls wrapped outside, and corners need care.
