Solar hot water grant: €1,200, the same for every home
SEAI pays €1,200 toward solar water heating, the same for every type of home (SEAI, read 7 September 2026). SEAI publishes no median price for the job, so we can't say how much of it the grant covers. The home has to be built and lived in before 2025, and the grant has to be approved before any work starts.

You cannot claim this and the solar electricity grant for the same roof area. A heat pump already makes hot water cheaply, so the two rarely go together. SEAI does not publish a middle price for this one, so we do not print a cost.
